Long hours at a desk or on a phone can pull the head forward and round the shoulders, leading to neck, upper back and headache pain. Scoliosis, a sideways curve of the spine, can also cause uneven muscle tension and discomfort. Dr. Todd Luther and Dr. Kaylee English help improve how your spine moves and support better posture day to day.
Signs Your Posture May Be Causing Pain
- Forward head position or rounded shoulders (“tech neck”)
- Neck, upper back or shoulder blade pain after sitting
- Tension headaches
- One shoulder or hip sitting higher than the other
How We Help
- A posture and spinal exam to see where motion is restricted
- Diversified and drop table adjustments to improve joint motion
- Therapeutic massage to ease tight, overworked muscles
- Simple stretches, strengthening ideas and workstation tips
For scoliosis, chiropractic care focuses on comfort, mobility and muscle balance. It does not straighten a structural curve, and we will refer you to a specialist when monitoring or bracing is needed.

What to Expect at Your First Visit
We’ll look at how you stand, sit and move, check the balance of your shoulders and hips, and test spinal motion and muscle tightness. We’ll also talk about your workday, phone and screen habits, and activities, since small daily habits play a big part in posture. From there, you’ll get a plan that combines in-office care with a few simple exercises you can actually stick with.
Posture & Scoliosis FAQ
Can a chiropractor fix bad posture?
Adjustments can improve how your joints move and make good posture feel easier, but lasting change also takes better daily habits and some strengthening. We help with both and keep the home exercises short.
Is chiropractic care right for scoliosis?
Chiropractic care can help with the muscle tension, stiffness and discomfort that often come with scoliosis. It does not straighten a structural curve. Children and teens with a growing curve should also be followed by a specialist, and we’re happy to coordinate.
What is “tech neck”?
It’s the strain that builds up from looking down at phones and laptops for long periods. Raising your screen, taking short movement breaks and strengthening the upper back all help.
